Foundation Stone For Wheat Marketing Project For Farmers in Erbil Province Was Laid
A unique project for farmers and the agricultural sector will be implemented for the first time in Kurdistan region by Khoshnaw Company.
In the presence of Masrour Barzani, Prime Minister of Kurdistan Regional Government and Ghafur Majid Khoshnaw, owner and director of Khoshnaw company, the foundation stone for wheat marketing project for farmers in Erbil province was laid, containing numerous factories and silos that will provide food security and fulfill domestic demand.
Several other projects will be carried out in the future to increase domestic production.

On August 11, 2020. Khoshnaw Co. proudly signs an agreement to launch the first agricultural project with the Regional Government of Kurdistan represented by Minister of Agriculture Begard Talabani and Mohammed Ghafoor Khoshnaw of Khoshnaw Co.
This project aims at establishing the first factory of its kind in the region, which manufactures wheat based products, such as; corn, groats, biscuit, pasta, etc. of local seasonal harvests.
The project will increase the income of the farmer and on the other will provide locals with homemade products, whilst it paves the way for reliance on local manufacturer and establishment of an environment that is dependent on local business, in conjunction to the boost of the economy in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

Khoshnaw Co. strongly believes in initiatives and takes part in supporting and finding new opportunities for the youth in the nation, as the Fair targeted unemployment nationwide.
